What Makes Us Different?
If you're considering building a new home, chances are you've already started looking for the perfect builder. When you walk through a model home, it's easy to fall in love with the granite they've used or how the master bathroom is furnished. But, what about what's inside the walls?
Here are just a few things that Alderbrook Homes™ quality homes, inside and out.
1 1/8" Subfloor
A thicker subfloor means less squeaking and bouncing.
Studs Are 16" on Center
While other builders space their studs on 24" centers to save money, placing them on standard 16" centers produces sturdier, straighter walls.
Fully Insulated Garages
Insulated garages better protect cars and other valuable contents stored inside.
Concrete Board Siding
Concrete board siding protects against moisture and rot, doesn't expand and contract like wood, is resistant to warping, and is non-combustible. The result? Siding that's safer and longer-lasting.
Where some builders use chicken wire, we insist on both 1" foam barriers and true stucco, to add insulation and prevent moisture intrusion.
Fiberglass Exterior Doors
Fiberglass doors are the lowest maintenance doors on the market today, resist dents and scratching, and don't rot, rust or warp.
We apply long-lasting polyurethane sealer prior to painting your home to prevent moisture intrusion.
We use Sherwin-Williams paints, exclusively, both inside and out, because it features ingredients that have proven to be more durable and to retain color better and longer than any other paints we've used.
3cm Slab Granite
Thicker granite counter-tops prove more rigid and resistant to damage from even the toughest abuse.
Endless Finish Options
When it comes to choosing your colors and finishes, you're not limited to four or five samples for options like granite, hardwood, tile, etc. We offer the full range* of what our suppliers have to offer.
*within neighborhood restrictions.
